Texas school district making Narcan more available on campuses AUSTIN (KXAN) — The latest push for school safety isn't just targeting guns, it is also focusing on dangerous drugs like fentanyl.Round Rock ISD is taking a proactive approach to the nationwide opioid epidemic.The district has teamed up with The Williamson County EMS Community Health Paramedic program and Public Education program to make Narcan more available to staff, students or visitors on campus."I think being proactive can be a good thing," said Keryn Hawthorne who has two kids in Round Rock ISD. "I can't see a downside to having it in schools"Narcan is used for the emergency treatment for an opioid overdose."I think the concern is out there and we just want to stay ahead of it," said George Scherer with RRISD. Ameren Missouri replaces power poles along Big Bend in Clayton   CLAYTON, Mo. - Dozens of Ameren Missouri workers spent Wednesday replacing power poles along a stretch of Big Bend Boulevard where an uprooted tree took down power lines.A company spokesperson said the decision was made to replace other aging poles nearby while the power lines needed to be placed.“You’re going to have to replace it anyway, might as well do it while you’re out here,” said Darryl Woodson, a nearby worker. 3 suspects charged with murder, robbery in shooting death of man in Culver City Three suspects facing murder and robbery charges have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a man last month in Culver City, authorities announced Wednesday.  The unidentified victim was found on March 30, at about 10:45 p.m., inside a vehicle in the 5900 block of West Washington Boulevard, according to the Culver City Police Department.
