Head coach Matt Triveri credits the kids for not hanging their heads when they had every opportunity to do so.“They’re a great group of kids. There’s not a lot of them, but they are great,” Triveri said. “We constantly talk about how life is full of setbacks. You can either dwell on them and stay pat or keep moving forward.“These guys have been great about doing whatever is needed. I can’t remember one time where a guy told us they can’t move from one position to another and that’s why we’ve had the success we’ve had so far this year.”Dominic Matteodo was the starter and someone Triveri felt was capable of a breakout season. This included two cases, Piraeus and the region of Crete, where New Democracy decided to hitch itself on the bandwagon of the incumbents, whom it had opposed in the previous local elections in 2019.But on Sunday, voters, at least those that bothered to turn out, inflicted a reality check on New Democracy’s triumphalis...
